PolarFlex is a segmented cutting edge system from Valley Blades is designed to clean roads better, in less time, and with reduced chemical use. These 12 inch plow blade segments are built with carbide inserts to increase the durability and life of the cutting edges. The segments are housed in EPDM rubber to allow for maximum flexibility resulting in the cleanest road ways possible. PolarFlex Front Mount set-up fits all types of plows eight feet and up and also fits reversible plows, wing plows, and tow plows. The under chassis assembly should be used on underbelly plows due to its shorter blade hight.

Carbide Insert - 1” Tungsten Carbide Inserts allow for more wear resistance and reduce premature failure. These run across the entire length of the blades
12” Segments - Just one person is needed to install these smaller blade pieces & the segments only weigh 11 lbs for safer snow plow cutting edge changing
Individually Replaceable Parts - With segments that can be disassembled, only change worn parts. PolarFlex brings the option to reuse any parts that aren’t heavily worn
Enviormental Benefits
Recyclable Parts - All parts of the PolarFlex System are recyclable including all steel and EPDM synthetic rubber pads and bushings. Only replace the worn parts and separate the rest for proper recycling. Rubber parts can be used up to 5 times
Vibration Reduction - Rubber housing & bushings means to no metal on metal contact, cutting down on the vibration in the cab and noise in the surrounding community
Reduce Salt Usage - A better clean with PolarFlex blades allows for less salt and pretreating chemical use, while still maintaining safe roads. Decreases chemical run off into the surrounding environment

UnderBelly Mount
Superior Scraping Ability- Underbelly plows use the weight of the vehicle to assist in cleaning the road surface, and the PolarFlex blades help balance the wear on the cutting edge
Interchangeable Parts - PolarFlex wear plates, rubber housing, and bushings are the same as the front plow parts. This makes keeping replacement parts stocked easy
Balanced Wear & Safer Blade Changes - Like PolarFlex front and wing mounted plows, belly blades are lighter weight and last longer than traditional blades
